Baby organics is a hot topic amongst parents right now. In addition to choosing to eat organic food, many parents are embracing organics as a way of life for them and their child. This can include organic baby furniture, nappies and clothing, all of which are now available. In fact, for many families having a baby has been the specific catalyst that led them to embrace organics. Surveys have shown dramatic increases – as high as 211% – in sales for eco-friendly baby products over recent years.
Companies that produce natural cleaning products are also reporting an increase in the numbers of parents choosing chemical-free products for their nursery and home.

But with non-food items, it is still less straight forward what the term means, according to WebMD. It’s a good idea to double check any claims of “natural” fabrics, for instance, as their production may still have involved the use of chemicals.
