Mother’s Day is just around the corner — which means, the time has come to figure out how to honour and celebrate the amazing mum or mothers in your life. It’s easy to see why one of the preferred ways to do so is by taking your mum for a lunch or dinner date. It’s a well-thought present, where you can celebrate in a relaxing setting. You get to talk and catch up with no distractions while enjoying a delicious meal. Keep reading to learn the best places in Singapore to eat this Mother’s Day.

1. Caffé B

Caffé B is the perfect spot to take mum to this Mother’s Day. Located in Club Street, Caffé B will be having a Mother’s Day celebration of its own —  with platters of Italian goodies and complimentary cocktails. We highly recommend the Mother’s Day sharing platter, which includes creamy king crab croquettes, beef tenderloin and croissant-style margherita pizza — yum!

But not everything is about the food — make sure you don’t forget to join the mother-child look-alike contest and put your genes to the test! Simply take a photo with your mum and you’ll be participating to win dinner vouchers for a future visit.

If you’re up for some serious indulgence, grab your mum and take her to Spices Cafe. During Mother’s Day weekend, Spices Cafe will feature an incredible ‘Harvest of the Sea’ buffet — where (you guessed it) you can expose your taste buds on a seafood feast. Think chilli crab, salted egg crab, fresh oysters, 200gr lobster with cheese, mentaiko with mushroom sauce and baby abalone with broccoli and mushroom. Spices Cafe is conveniently located within the Concorde Hotel, in Orchard Road.

For Mother’s Day (13 and 14 of May), La Brasserie is offering a set four-course dinner, which includes pumpkin potage with pink peppercorns and slow-poached trout with cassoulet and caviar sauce. The best part of choosing La Brasserie as your chosen venue? The fact that mothers dine free with a minimum of two paying adults.

Argentinian food has Spanish and Italian influences, and focus primarily on the meat. boCHINche is offering a tantalising brunch spread, with dishes such as sweet and savoury brioche French toast with cooked ham and bacon ice cream. Pair it with a glass of Runtini Trumpeter Rose de Malbec sparkling, and you’re set for a great night.
