There’s no question that the best early nutrition for a baby is breast milk. It is a bit hard to suggest that it’s not pure, fresh, balanced and nutritious. That’s why it’s recommended by professionals. But what if you can’t or don’t want to breastfeed? We know mum’s who simply can’t – sometimes because they don’t produce enough. Then what? Then you need to think about mindful eating options.
In short, the philosophy of mindful eating means the more you think about your food and your baby’s food, the greater the impact on your baby’s health and wellness.
However, we didn’t invent the term mindful eating. In the U.S. there is an organisation called the Centre for Mindful Eating and their website contains a lot of information about the philosophy behind it.
So how does Bellamy’s Organic baby formula relate to mindful eating? Our journey to developing Australia’s premier organic baby formula began in 2005 when we realised there were simply no organic Australian made formula available and organic formula was only available in niche health food stores. Our commitment to purity starts with our milk which is produced on certified organic farms, doesn’t contain any chemicals and is dual certified organic.
Deep down, we all know that we really are what we eat. So when you’re looking for an alternative for your baby, where do you start? The supermarkets are full of formula but they are not all the same!
It’s a good idea to become familiar with the healthiest options available and learn how to identify these products when shopping for your family.

So the message of the day? Think about mindful eating for your young family.
